Hello to all my friends and lovers of good food everywhere.

For the past thirty-five-plus years, I’ve been in the restaurant and catering industry, most of it as a head chef, and most of it here in Nashville, Tennessee. Still, my career has led me all over the United States and Canada, giving me the chance to work in places as varied as Vancouver and New Orleans, San Diego and South Bend, picking up local influences wherever I went. Comparing and combining these culinary styles, while respecting what makes them noteworthy and even great, has allowed me to come up with some extraordinary flavors and textures in my food over the years. And nothing has had such an impact on my friends and customers as when I introduced Anejo sauce several years ago. I gave it away to other chefs and neighbors and family, and everywhere it went, I heard the same thing: “You should bottle this stuff, Man”.

Well, now I have. I hope that you will find that my line of sauces is as good and as good an accompaniment to food as all those others have for so long. On this website you will find a description of the different products and suggestions for their uses. You will find some background on the sauces, recipes, and a little about the folks who helped to make Anejo what it is—simply the best, richest-flavored and most versatile pepper sauce on the market.

Hello again, friends,

I am proud to announce that Anejo Foods has had its best year yet in 2023, Thanks to all the support and word-of-mouth from my customers and fans everywhere. I am also happy to say that my Pennsylvania fans can expect to see more of Anejo soon in the Pittsburgh area, which is soon to be Anejo Foods’ second home. There will be longer order fulfillment times for a couple of months, March and April, while we set ourselves up in new spaces and open new markets, but we will get to everyone who reaches out. As always, Heatonist.com will continue to be a steady source of product, for those of you used to ordering from them. In the meantime, I look forward to hearing from customers and fans just like always,
