About Purchases

While Anejo Foods was begun as a wholesale supplier for restaurants and caterers, a lively group of retailers has offered our sauces for some time now. Below you will find listings where to buy at both local and far-flung places. If you are somewhere beyond the reach of any of the good folks on this list, you are welcome to contact me directly at anejosauce@gmail.com and I’ll see what I can do to help. If you have a special occasion and would like to buy some of our sauces in bulk, I have special pricing available upon request. Mind you, pricing varies from location to location, and Anejo Foods is not involved in the setting thereof. Also, if you have a retail outlet and would like to inquire about carrying any of these products at your location, please call (615) 486 4163. That goes for any other questions or requests as well, and I love to hear from my customers, so keep those calls and emails coming. Thanks, everyone!

Physical Locations

SKY BLUE CAFE

700 Fatherland Street

The good folks at this small and eclectic cafe in East Nashville, along with their devoted customers, have been instrumental in getting Anejo sauces out there in front of Nashvillians for years now. They almost always have a good supply on hand, and the friendly staff is worth chatting with. Have a great cup of coffee and an unbeatable breakfast while you’re there, and take a bottle of us home with you.

BARE BONES BUTCHER

906 51st Avenue North (The Nations)

This shop is a little bit of old-fashioned hands-on butcher shop, and a little bit of neighborhood lunch counter, featuring locally-sourced, lovingly-handled and prepared meats raised by responsible and knowledgeable farmers. There’s always some Anejo on the shelf, and it goes great with everything in the butcher case.

HEATONIST

121 Wythe Ave, Brooklyn, New York; Heatonist.com

I’m happy to be on the shelves of this happy little shop in Brooklyn that offers only small-batch, natural, artisanal hot sauces from around the country. If you’re in New York, you can go by the shops in Brooklyn and Manhattan and experience the tasting room. Anejo Original Red and Verde sauces have been a featured item here since 2015, and even showed up in a video on the website. Owners Noah and Tyler make sampling and shopping a welcoming and spicy occasion, indeed. If you can’t make it to their shops, then by all means, take some time to check out the website—they make online shopping easy, and shipping is very reasonable.

This is how it comes—Original Red is the mildest, Verde a bit hotter, and the Habanero XX packs the serious burn.
